Holiday Florals, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you a fun, holiday card I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps DieCember Release! It is part of an inspiring Instagram hop, with lots of prizes to be had, so be sure to head on over to my instagram for those details.

Encouragement Cards, Simon Says Stamp

For this card, I used the new 6×8 Holiday Florals stamp set, which is a fun layering set.

I used Distress Oxides to stamp the images on Distress White Heavystock. With solid stamps like these Distress Oxides are nice because of their pigment properties. I used the following colors:

• Kitsch Flamingo
• Worn Lipstick
• Festive Berries
• Mustard Seed
• Wild Honey
• Cracked Pistachio
• Lucky Clover
• Peeled Paint
• Rustic Wilderness
• Vintage Photo

I then die cut the background out of the largest stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle set. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I used a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Glitter to add some sparkle and “Glitter All Of The Things”. I also added some Trinity Stamps Sprout Confetti Embellishments. They are like flat sequins, and I thought they added some nice color to the background.
