Bee Yourself, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today a few cards made with the new Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit! This kit is chocked full with SO much fun 🙂

Bee Yourself, Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

As always, I have so much fun creating with this card kit! There is always a great variety of products- so you can make many different cards. I have FIVE different cards to share with you today. I used the kit and a few other supplies from my stash.

For this first card, I white embossed the honeycomb pattern included in the Bee Yourself stamp set in the kit. I then ink blended over it with Wild Honey and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink Pads. I then die cut it with a Stitched Rectangle.

For the bees, I Copic colored them and fussy cut them out. For their wings, I used a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I adhered some of the black and yellow sequins included in the kit with the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. One final detail, I added some black glaze pen to their noses, their stingers, their antennas, and their hands.

For this next card, again I white embossed a few of the honeycomb stamps included in the Bee Yourself set in the kit. I then ink blended over it with Distress Oxides in a rainbow. Using Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet.

For the bees this time I colored them in the shade of gray. Using Copics I colored with W2, W4, W6, and W8. For their wings, I used a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I adhered some of the black sequins included in the kit with the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. The little guy with glasses I added some glossy accents to the glass. One final detail, I added some black glaze pen to their noses, their stingers, their antennas, and their hands.

For this third card, I had a ton of fun coloring the bees in rainbow colors. Who says bees HAVE to be yellow and black!?! Not in my colorful world.

The background is ink blended with Wild Honey and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide. I then stamped the honeycomb and bzzzzzz tail with Onyx Black Versafine Ink. For their wings, I used a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine Ink. The little guy with glasses I added some glossy accents to the glass. One final detail, I added some black glaze pen to their noses, their stingers, their antennas, and their hands.

For the last 2 cards, I die cut the honeycomb from the Small Hexagon die that is included in the kit. I die cut it from Deco Foil Peel N Stick Toner Sheets. I stuck the positive on one piece of black cardstock and the negative pieces I placed on another piece. Using the foil from the kit I ran it through my laminator.

I stamped and colored a few of the bees, check out the cute little bowtie on one of them. Stamped some sentiments and other accents to finish off the cards.

There are so many other cards I could create with this awesome card kit, I can’t wait to play with it a bit more! I hope you enjoy these cards and find them inspiring for when you get your kit!
