A Rainbow, Lawn Fawnatics

Hi, everyone! I am here today to share a card for the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-

A Rainbow, Lawn Fawnatics

My card today which was inspired by the rainbow chalk art on the pavement in the inspiration photo is a bit different as I concentrated all the color on the background and kept the rainbow white, but I enjoy how it came out!

For the backgrounds, I used Distress Spray Stains on one card (right), and Distress Oxide Sprays on the other (left) both on Distress White Heavystock. I have been playing with both of these mediums a lot as I plan out my next Distress Technique Online Class, and was inspired to keep playing! Stay Tuned for those class details!

I then cut the backgrounds out with the largest rectangle of the Outside In Stitched Rectangle and matted it on Storm Cloud Cardstock.

For the sentiment “after every storm comes a rainbow” I stamped with Riley’s ABCs

I die cut the rainbow die out of white cardstock. I also cut out the clouds from Spring Showers and inked them up a bit with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Spray. I attached these with foam squares.

I added some glossy accents to the rainbow and sprinkled some Chunky Glitter. “Work it chunky glitter, work it!”
