Hi everyone,
December 2, updated below about the donations. All auctions closed.
I am here today with a bit of a different post. I wanted to chat with you a little about Giving Tuesday and give you an opportunity to contribute to something important to me. Some of you might remember how I organized a fundraiser for the Cape Cod Resilence Fund this summer. It exceeded ALL expectations. I sold out of my exclusive Cape Cod stamp set, and we raised close to $3,000!!!!! I am STILL so blown away by it. Amanda and Jen, who run Love Live Local which is organizing the Cape Cod Resilience Fund were in awe at how the cardmaking community came together and quite literally blew up the #CapeCodResilienceFund hashtag (and if you peek at the top posts, most are from us and what we did).
So, you have inspired me to do more.
The Cape Cod Resilience Fund is helping small businesses on Cape Cod, where I live. Cape Cod is a small community, and a community that is driven by travel dollars- both have been hit hard this year and continue to be hit hard as we enter a long winter during this pandemic.
I had purchased some extras of the Lawn Fawn Stamptember set the past few years. These sets are only available through Simon Says Stamp and once they are gone, they are gone. They are no longer available. I purchased them to do a giveaway at some point, but I wanted it to be a meaningful giveaway. Well, that brings us to Giving Tuesday. Each year I am blown away by the generosity and creativity of people on Giving Tuesday, and in previous years I have done some fun things. Something simple like paying for the coffee for the person behind you in the drive-through, or donating money to pet fostering organizations etc.
A little bit about Giving Tuesday from their website:
“GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.”
So this year, during a year we all need a little fun and a chance to give back I am hosting 2 auctions. All proceeds from these auctions will be donated to the Cape Cod Resilience Fund. One auction will be on my Instagram, and one on my Facebook page. In order to bid you just need to add a comment on the social media posts (either Facebook or Instagram) with your bid. Both social media accounts like to leave comments out of order, so be sure to scan the post to see who is the last highest bid.
Bidding will take place from December 1 at 8a ET to December 2 at noon ET.
Venmo is the preferred way to pay for your bid, but I will also accept PayPal. I will send exact payment info to whoever has the winning bid at the end of the auction.

Exclusive Cape Cod Stamp Set PRE ORDER
I have been getting a lot of emails asking when I will stock my exclusive Cape Cod stamp again, and I am happy to announce I am taking pre-orders now!! I had sold SO many sets when I was raising money for the Cape Cod Resilience Fund this summer, I wasn’t sure how many more people would want the set. I also need to order a large quantity of them, which is an investment for me, so I wanted to hold off a bit.
You can see a TON of fabulous inspiration with this set here, there are so many ideas and they aren’t all Cape Cod specific. If you like the beach, this set is perfect!
Every weekend i used to pay a quick visit this web site, for the reason that i want enjoyment, for the reason that this this website conations actually pleasant funny stuff too.
