Guest Tutorial Artist for Splitcoaststampers: No Line Watercoloring | shurkus.com

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to have a tutorial for you today. Splitcoaststampers contacted me and asked if I would like to be a guest tutorial author and I said “heck yes!” I have been enjoying watercoloring so much, like seriously SO much. I love the way it looks and I find it really relaxing to color in images. I have been primarily using Distress Inks to watercolor but this technique will work with any watercolor medium. Today I am sharing with you how to do a no-line watercoloring. This gives a more “painterly” look to your images and almost looks like you drew the images yourself!

I just want to say, I have seen the no line watercoloring done many many time Jenn and usually people have it far to watered out to look right to my eye. You have done this so well. I love when it looks like old children’s illustrations…that look but I do want it to look like it has dimension and some color too and you have achieved what I would call the perfect results girl! TFS 😀
