no sneak peeks today…. instead my 2010 word!

for the past few years ali edwards has challenged us to pick a word.. to focus on in the year. I have done it a bunch of times, but last year i skipped it, not sure why, but i did. I’m not going to lie.. i missed having “my word” to have something to focus on…..

so mid december.. i started jotting down words that “spoke” to me…. sometimes crossing off previous words, and i finally have come to a conclusion!

my word for this year is : appreciate

i’m a very lucky girl. i have a lot of things to be appreciative for.  a lot of times my life gets SO hectic, i dont take time to appreciate what i have. so in 2010 i’m going to “stop and smell the roses” a bit more

appreciate the job i am very lucky to have
appreciate the friends i have… i dont know what i would do without them
appreciate my island…. my space 😉 that allows me to be ME and creative
appreciate my health
appreciate me for me
appreciate my dad… all that he has taught me, and the times we get to spend together

there’s many more.. and i have them written down, i wont bore you 🙂

do you have a word for 2010? or any resolutions you want to share!?

happy new year!

Crazzzy that we’re still pretty much the same person, as my word for 2010 is “GRATITUDE”…pretty similar to “appreciate,” don’t ya’ think? 🙂 Love you!

A great word and probably a word we should all adopt as we really don’t appreciate enough what we have, where we are at and who we are. Still thinking about my word ……..

I appreciate you, more than you know. (though hopefully that will change this year!) 🙂 My oldest (length not age) friend, the one who calls me to laugh when I text things like “he made me touch his peepee” and such. And who still laughs with me about things like hubba-bubba thievery. 😉
Also – the island allows more than just YOU to be creative… It’s one of my favorite places in the world… 🙂

I appreciate you! 🙂 I’ve been playing around with the word idea for this year – I can never make myself stick to resolutions. They always feel like I’m doing it for the wrong reason! So, my word for 2010 is “balance” – as in my scales are way off – I need to focus more on me and mine and get some balance in my life! Whoa, long enough comment, Tish??

I think appreciate is a lovely word for 2010. I assume you will be appreciating Mr. Harley as well? hee hee
He sure does love that scrap box, doesn’t he? Too cute.
