best memories of 2009

i thought i would share some photos from 2009, which are from some of the best memories i have of the year 😉  or fun things i created they may not be the BEST photos… but they trigger the memory and thats all that matters… 

today i'll share jan -july…. enjoy!

jan: i created a mermaid shrine… which everyone got to create at colorful creations VIP night



february: i got to see my dad race on valentines day… he surprised me by painting big red hearts all over his car and josie came to visit… we worked on wedding "stuff" and got stampy during a virtual stamp night… she was able to capture this shot of mister harley that i LOVE 🙂 now i want one similar with the "wicked" stamp ;) 

march: this is always a crazy month… busy prepping for and hosting crop on the cape
i remember snapping this pic… i was home printing like crazy items for the event… and it was warm enough early in the day when the sun is in front of the house to open the front door… mister harley was a happy kitty AND showed me his balancing skills

april: a bunch of us new england a muse addicts got together for some stamping good times 🙂 i love these gatherings, as i'm not the teacher 🙂 i get to play too!! (theres another one coming up at ink about it on jan 17th… there are a few spots left… goto the a muse lounge for more details!) 
AND the easter bunny visited mister harley!! no lie!! i have seen plenty of bunnies in my yard, but not since i got mister harley…. on easter day, they came out to play and mister harley spotted him…. 

 
 

 
 may:
  this was a busy month 😉 melyssa and landon came home from the west coast FOR GOOD 🙂 (luke was soon to follow).
 it was my birthday… the BIG 3-0, but more importantly… ALL my girls were able to celebrate with me in Boston!! All of them, not one was missing… this hasnt happened since before everyone started getting married and popping out babies 😉 it seriously was the BEST birthday gift ever!!
 I also got in my first beach day for the year… if i knew it would be the only one until august i would've appreciated it MUCH more.. our summer last year sucked, weather wise
and i got to take a very inspiring class with fred mullett 😉 love getting all painty and inky!!






june:

i didn't end up going to
visit my dad for fathers day as i always do.. it was pouring rain ( like it did all of june) and it just wasnt worth it… he and i do things outside together.. not inside….

mister harley started to sit nxt to watchers urn.. random days.. always at night

i got my new jetta 😉 which i LOVE
   
 i designed my 4th advent calendar.. the one i would teach in 2009… it only took 12 hours :) 

and because the weather was so crappy.. i got lots of snuggle times with mister harley… i cant remember the last time he snuggled like this with me… guess hes getting to be a big boy :*( 
 
 
  

july is always a crazy busy month :) 

i spent 4th of july with my dad and his "biker group" we rode waaaayyy up into maine (did over 500 miles on the bike in a weekend) and went white water rafting for the first time. this weekend will go down in the history books, cause if you notice my dad is wearing his leather coat AND he wore gloves driving.. it was one of the coldest 4th of julys HE could remember (and hes a crazy weather guy) i also love riding in formation with a ton of bikes… we had over 30 on this trip!!

right after 4th of july… i was thrown into the crazy times of a*muse*a*palooza!! teaching almost 7 days straight… fun fun times at ink about it, stampassion, beautiful impressions and colorful creations ( i recently tallied all my a muse numbers for the year… and realized i taught almost 1,000 students a muse classes in 2009!! thank you to everyone who participated in all those classes!!!)

right after a*muse*a*palooza.. i drove right from stampassions to melyssas where we then drove to NH for josies surprise bridal shower :)  

then i came home.. where mister harley yelled at me for being gone so much….. i then put on the SUPER cute bedding that josie gave me 🙂 so perfect for summer and for the island :) 

then the last weekend of the month my dad came down to visit… we went on the welfleet audubon walk ,  i took him to his first concert ever 🙂 we saw nickelback at greatwoods, tweeter center, comcast center… seriously the greatest thing ever.. he was like a little kid 🙂 and then the next day we drove the harley down to p-town and went whale watching (another first for both of us 😉 )

mister harley AND i were def. pooped after that month :)
