looking back…… at december

i thought before i reflected on 08… and looked forward to 2009… i would flashback to december… i haven't been blogging much, besides showing you my advent calendar…

so here we go!

i sent victoria home with an advent calendar… wanted her to have something fun to look forward to throughout the month… she made sure the calendar came back to live with me…. so it can get filled again 😉

we had our {creative chick} holiday party… which is always fun times 🙂

harley and i participated in the Virtual Meeting of A muse Addicts… so glad i did this.. it was a fun fun night!

who changes their holiday crafty plan right in December?? I do 😉 but it was worth it….
the cover of Cloth Paper Scissors… inspired me to create these for all my girls…. had fun doing it, harley had fun munching on their heads, and tipping them over so i had to scramble to find all the beads and pears… but over all they were easy to pull together and SOOO cute 😉

no christmas tree for me… but i have the cutest button tree ever made from ER… and harley *loves* watching candles, made me nervous at first… but he was a good kitty with them

I had a lot of time at home, to just chill on the island… i have loved just hanging out with harley… doing crafty projects… i even got to participate in a super cute a muse ATC swap 🙂 (you can see here how helpful mister harley is)

for the first time since i can remember i got ALL of my chrismtas cards out on time… all 100 of them 🙂 love how they turned out!

i enjoyed spending time… hearing family stories, remembering those not with us, and laughing together

i love when i get to have girl time… with my new hampshire girlies 🙂 here is a november birthday shot… since all of them but me have nov bdays (steph, me, stacy, jos) I'm so lucky to have the bestest friends EVER!

M7 Jimbo Shurkus…. racing… a fun time had by all!! Like my dad would say "the best $10 you can spend"
Mark, Sandy, Steph and I Cheered my dad on.. who had a good race.. he was in 5th place when his tire went flat UGH! I look forward to his next race February 14th, who's coming with me??!!

harley is an indoor kitty.. and the only time (so far) that hes curious to go out is when it's snowing.. so i brought him in a lil snowball after shovelling… he ate the whole thing!! crazy kitty!!

december 31, 2008: ok cape cod…. you have had 2 decent snow storms so far this winter… your done… be cold but dry and let me get back to my flip flops!
