Hi everyone,
I’m here today with a special post in honor of Giving Tuesday. Each year, I am blown away by the generosity and creativity of people on Giving Tuesday, and in previous years, I have done some fun things. Something simple like paying for the coffee for the person behind you in the drive-through or donating money to pet fostering organizations, and in 2020 we raised money for the Cape Cod Resilience Fund.
A little bit about Giving Tuesday from their website:
“GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.”
So, you have inspired me to do more.
Last fall I set up a special place here on my site, where you can purchase my one-of-a-kind handmade cards, and all the money collected from these sales will be donated directly to my local MSPCA, here on Cape Cod.
This local shelter is very special to me because it is where we adopted all three of our boys: Mister Harley, Gus, and Jac. I have uploaded a bunch of cards to this section of my website, and I will continue to upload them throughout the year, so be sure to check back often! You may not want any of my handmade cards since you create your own, but I would appreciate you sharing this with your family & friends who might not be crafty.
I will be sure to post here on my blog each time I donate, and I will do this a few times a year as well.
In the past year thanks to you I have donated 1,918.00 to my local MSPCA.
Thank you for helping me in raising money for this very special organization.
