Welcome to the Seasons Givings Blog Hop! This is such a fabulous hop that Latisha organizes each year and I love being part of it. It’s a BIG one, which means there are a lot of prizes to be won- be sure to hop to all of them and see what everyone has in store for you. I have the full hop list below.

Some of you might be new around here, so I thought I would share a little bit about me: I am Jenn Shurkus, and I consider myself to be a “creative chick” 😉 I used to manage a local papercrafting stores and all of us girls who worked there were the “creative chicks” so I have carried on that tradition. I live on Cape Cod in MA. I am obsessed with the ocean and might be part mermaid. I wear flip flops 363 days a year. I am a fur baby mama, my boyfriend Chris and I have 3 kitties we adore; Mister Harley, Gus Gus, and a new baby we adopted on December 26th, yet to be named. You can see pics of them on their own instagram account here. 2018 was a BIG year for me. It is the first year where I was fully self-employed! I teach in person and online papercrafting classes. I teach at trade shows for Lawn Fawn. I also host 2 Art Retreats a year on Cape Cod (1 in the spring and 1 in the fall, 2019 dates TBA SOON, Creative Journey Art Retreat.  I also host Crop on the Cape on Cape Cod MA, and 2019 will be our 20th year!! Crop on the Cape is fast approaching in March, and there are still a few seats available- would love to have you join us! More details here.

In 2018 I traveled and taught in 12 different states, 2 provinces in Canada, 4 trade shows and 18 independent stores! That’s a lot of Lawn Fawn classes, and meeting a lot of creative peeps!

I also have been busy planning my classes for 2019 and there are a bunch already on my class calendar. I absolutely LOVE teaching and can’t wait to do more of it in the next year.

  • I am following you on Instagram. By the way, I love your kitties!!! I’m a kitty person too. I have a 15 1/2 year old Maine Coon named Tiger. He is my best buddy. He has to follow me everywhere. He won’t lay on my lap unless I put his Afghan in my lap first. He uses his paws for everything to indicate what he wants. Love him to death!!
