Last night I was facetime “crafting” with my friend Chari and when coloring with Copics I realized it had been weeks since I colored anything 😱
With the holidays, and allowing myself a slower pace. I just haven’t been in my studio much creating. I HAVE been organizing though and getting ready for all the fun things I am going to be offering in 2021. Online classes, virtual Crop on the Cape, and another virtual Creative Journey Art Retreat are all in the plans for the next 4 months! I have decided to use 2 planners this year. One for planning out creative posts, videos, events, and classes. The other more traditionally a calendar with all my deadlines and tasks. I love all my devices, MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Apple watch etc- but I find when I write things out and can visually see things on paper I am more organized and can plan things out better. Do you use a planner? Are you interested in seeing how I am setting mine up? Let me know in the comments.
Pictured here is the Rad + Happy undated planner and Archer & Olive / Amy Tangerine, planner. I used Amy’s last year and loved it. Super impressed with the quality of the paper and book from Archer & Olive. Would love to see more ideas on how to make a planner totally about your own needs to schedule, list, plan. Definitely prefer paper to computer for it. Use the computer for reminders and alarms but everything else is paper.
Hi Jen, I always use a planner but nothing but a notebook kind of one from dollar tree but being that I am going back to work, I would love to see how to use one of the planners…..thanks
Hi Jenn! While I haven’t used a planner in the past, I always write things down. I’m considering getting a planner for this year and would love to see how you use yours. Thanks,
I’m a paper calandras girl. Would love to see your planner ideas.
I too am a paper planner girl! Always love seeing how others use their tools so if you are willing to share, would love it! Thanks for asking!
I’m still a paper planner. I need to see it in front of me. And with scheduling 3 kids and a traveling hubby- a calendar hangs right in the kitchen where they still forget to look at it!
Jenn,
I’m totally a planner and love to create lists. There is nothing more gratifying when I check things off. I’m excited that you’ll be offering more virtual classes and retreats! 2021 will be an amazing and crafty year!
