Alright, now to the fun project I have to share with you-
You’re Such A Fungi, Lawn Fawnatics

I had so much fun creating with the moles during my A Mole Lot of Friends class that I couldn’t resist making another card afterward. If you didn’t get a chance to take the class live, no worries—the resources are still available, and you can still register anytime to dive in and create along with me.
For this card, I started by coloring the moles from A Mole Lot of Love and the mushrooms from To My Fungi using Copic markers. I’m sharing the color swatches I used below. If you’d like some extra guidance on coloring these adorable moles, I share one approach in the free Create With Us class, which includes a downloadable handout with coloring guides. I also colored the moles a bit differently in my A Mole Lot of Friends class, and yes, those coloring guides are included there too.
Next, I created the background using Distress Watercolor Pencils, keeping things loose and playful. Once the watercoloring was dry, I softly ink blended one layer of the Falling Hearts Stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide to add a subtle pop of pattern and color.
For a little extra sparkle, I used Prisma Glitter applied with a Quickie Glue Pen on the snail shell, the worms, the mushroom stems, and the heart speech bubble—just enough shimmer to catch the light without overpowering the scene.
After assembling everything onto Baby Skunk Line Dance patterned paper, I finished the card with a few glossy details. I added Glossy Accents to the moles’ noses for shine and dimension, and a mix of Glossy Accents and Distress Rock Candy Clear to the spots on the mushrooms for added texture.
Now the real question… do you think Chris is going to like this card? With all the dad jokes he shares, I’m pretty sure this pun is right up his alley! 😄🍄
