Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Yay, Old Enough, Spellbinders

For this card I was in the mood for bright, bold, saturated color, so I reached for my Distress Paints to really bring the drama. I love how vibrant and intense the pigments are, especially when you let them blend and layer naturally on Distress Watercolor Cardstock.
I created two separate backgrounds so I could stretch those juicy colors even further. From one of the panels, I die cut the new Yay dies from Spellbinders, and then cut the shadow layer from black cardstock to really make those colors pop. That crisp black outline gives it that graphic, almost retro feel that I can’t get enough of.
For the sentiment, I grabbed the Birthday Laughs stamp set and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock, because you know I love that high-contrast look. To finish things off, I added a touch of Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter to the main “yay” for a little sparkle and texture. It catches the light in the prettiest way without overpowering all that bold color.
Sometimes you just need a card that says it loud and proud, so tell me… are you team bold and bright, too?

Hope this sparked some crafty ideas for your next project!
