Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Winter Birthday!

Winter Birthday, Lawn Fawn

One thing I love about Lawn Fawn products is that they all coordinate so well with each other and you can create such a large variety of cards from just one set. The main set used here, Snow Cool came out with the holiday release, but how cute is this as a winter birthday card? Mixing it with Party Balloon Dies, and Perfectly Plaid Papers- this cute little scene was so fun to pull together.

I also love all the little stamps included in sets that you can mix and match with other sets. On this card here I used the ice cream cone, present, heart and “happy birthday sentiment” from the Party Animal set.

Lastly that super cute banner is from Birthday Tags, an I added the Small Dotted Square and Lime Lawn Trimmings as a finishing touch 😉  Did you know that Lawn Trimmings are different then baker’s twine? It is a bit stiffer so it’s easier to tie small bows with it, and it keeps shape really well!

What’s a birthday without a little sparkle? I used a quickie glue pen and crystal ultra fine glitter to add some sparkle to the balloons!

My Dad’s birthday is next week so I’m going to send him this card. I made 2 so I could have another for my stash!
