Winter Berries, Pinkfresh Studio

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you a set of cards I created with some of the new products from Pinkfresh Studio.

These cards are part of a fun Instagram hop, be sure to head over to my Instagram page so you can enter the giveaway there and hop along to more inspiration!

For these cards, I started by creating the background. I die-cut a few pieces of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with the Dotted Chevron Coverplate. I then used Distress Watercolor Pencils and added layers of color all over the background of two of them. For the pink background, I started with Tattered Rose, then Kitsch Flamingo, then a touch of Candied Apple. For the blue one, I started with Tumbled Glass, then Salvaged Patina and a touch of Peacock Feathers.

I also added a touch of gold to the background from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors paint set.

I then hot-foiled the new Winter Berries Frame Hot Foil Plate onto the smooth side of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and die-cut it with the coordinating die. I also stamped and die-cut the sentiment from the coordinating Winter Berries Frame stamp set. Although I didn’t use it, there is also a coordinating stencil for this set.

I then watercolored the holly leaves and berries with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added the sprigs of holly to the card with either glue tube or foam squares. I adhered the sentiment on top of the holly. I then added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to some of the berries using Distress Collage Medium.

I was having so much fun I decided to create two more holiday cards following the same process.
