Wild and Free Flowers, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit
I had so much fun creating these cards with the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp. I loved the patterned papers included in the kit so much that I let those be the focal point of this card set. I chose a variety of them, trimmed them down to 4″ x 5.25″. I chose a coordinating paper that had some gold details, and added a band across each background. I cut out a variety of postage stamps and tickets from the patterned papers. I used a paper edge distressed on all the edges of these layers to give it some texture.
I then embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder and layered these sentiment strips onto the backgrounds. I matted all of these onto some colored cardstock included in the kit. Lastly I added some gems from my stash.
This was a quick and fun way to create a stack of cards with a variety of sentiments to have in my stash for when I need them. I hope these cards have inspired you, AND there are so many other supplies in the kit I have yet to play with- so even MORE cards to come! Get your kit here!
