Before I share my card I wanted to let you know that registration has opened up for a few of the online events I am hosting this fall. Alright, now to the card I have to share with you-
Waving Hello, Lawn Fawnatics
The inspiration photo inspired me to play with some alcohol inks! I created a wavy, watery background on yupo paper, adding some gilded gold alcohol ink towards the center for a focal point.
I then stamped out some images from Mermaid For you, Fintastic Friends and On the Beach, and colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out.
I added a little sparkle to them with Prisma glitter and a Quickie glue pen.
For the sentiment I stamped out “waving” with Claire’s ABCs and Bubblegum Lawn Fawn ink on a simple wavy banner. I also die-cut the letters for “HELLO” from Finley’s ABCs out of gold metallic cardstock.
I finished off the card with a touch of Chunky glitter along the bottom of the card.
You know me, just over here hanging onto summer and trying to keep my mermaid heart happy. I hope it inspires you!
