Warm Beverage Season, Pink & Main

I couldn’t choose between these adorable die sets, so I made cards with all of them! I started with the Cozy Mug and Hot Drink To Go dies and paired them with their new add-ons to build a couple of sweet warm drinks, perfect for a chilly holiday greeting.

I cut every piece from cardstock and inked the edges with Distress Inks. That small step adds so much dimension and makes each piece look like it could pop right off the card.

With the drinks assembled, I moved on to the backgrounds. For the Cozy Mug card, I used the new Holiday Sweets Layering Stencil with Distress Inks for a soft, layered look. For the Hot Drink To Go card, I ink blended a background with Distress Inks and then ran it through the Holiday Saying Embossing Folder for a lovely bit of texture.

For the sentiments, I white heat embossed two greetings from the new Holly Jolly Sentiments onto Guava cardstock. The crisp white against that rich pink is so festive!

I popped the drinks and sentiments up on foam squares for extra depth. Then came my favorite part, the sparkle: Stickles, Distress Rock Candy Clear, and Glossy Accents give everything a sugary shine that’s hard to resist.
