Welcome back to my Valentine Blog Hop Series! Did you enjoy Christy’s fun panda card from yesterday? I hope you visited and left her some LOVE! (hint: we LOVE comments)
Until February 14th not only will I have a creative love inspired project for you, but one of my wicked crafty friends will too! It is a 14 day long blog hop! I am so honored that these girls are offering up their time and creativity and sharing it with me and more importantly YOU! So, be sure to hop back to my blog each day until Valentine’s Day- Take a peek at what I have created for you and then I will also share with you another inspiring link to check out as well!
Sharing the LOVE! Since this is the season of L-O-V-E be sure to leave me a little love and my hop participants a little love as well throughout this series. (hint: we LOVE comments) Let me knowin the comments how you are sharing the LOVE of this blog hop- you can share the link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. The more times you share, and the more days you share the better your odds of winning! I will be randomly picking some sharers and posting them and the prizes at the end of this series.
I have to admit the card today is a random mix of things that were on my (very messy) studio table. I just started pulling stuff, not really thinking about it too much and gluing it down before I could doubt myself. I am really pleased with how it came out!
The baroque background is actually from a small paper bag that Bella Art puts your ribbons in when you purchase them from her store. I got a couple yards of the red ruffle ribbon you see here from there. How sweet is that? The music note tissue tape has been sitting on my table for awhile now from another project. The white label that I stamped the sentiment on was extra I had laying around from another project and I used scrap red card stock to cut the new stitched scalloped borders from Lawn Fawn that I used on yesterdays card as well. The Feb 14 date bubble is actually one of the stamps from Avery Elle Lots of Love set. I stamped it in versafine black and once it was positioned on the card I put a thick coat of glossy accents on it. Once that was dry, I topped it with another coat- how cool is that?
Today for my creative friend I have Amy. I actually just recently “met” her in the blogging/papercraft world a few months ago, but then she reminded me that she and I swapped emails back during my a muse days 😉 . Her card designs are so unique with a graphic feel. I love all the challenges she participates in and she is SUPER supportive of my blog always leaving me sweet commetns. Here is a peek of what she has in store for you, be sure to visit her blog and remember SHARE the love 😉 and see you tomorrow!
Valentine Blog Hop Series 2014
What a perfect mix of elements – you definitely pulled them all together beautifully. I don’t think I could ever do that with what was on my desk! Loved your guest from today – Amy T always inspires me and she is always super encouraging in her comments.
I pinned your card (and Amy T’s as well!)

Sweet!!! All the details are just wonderful!!! Since I dabble in composing on the piano (still trying to get my nerve up to submit some of my better pieces for publication!!), I LOVE anything with music notes. I have some Washi that is of a similar pattern which I adore. Love that red gingham ruffle…..just so pretty and happy!!! Also, what a genius way of doing that date bubble!! I LOVE THAT. What a perfectly delightful card.

Love that you were able to create a card out of ‘found’ items. We all have lots of stuff floating around on our workspaces!
Love how you mixed textures in a random, fun way.
