Tim Holtz/Sizzix: Wildflowers Watercolored Card Set

Tim Holtz/Sizzix: Wildflowers Watercolored Card Set

For this set of cards, I used the new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Wildflowers die set. I die-cut many of the wildflowers with Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then watercolored the pieces with Distress Watercolor Pencils.

I bundled the wildflowers together and gathered them with a die-cut heart from the new Vault Lovebirds die set, which I also cut from Distress Watercolor cardstock and watercolored with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I attached them to another piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock on the textured side. This was matted on some kraft cardstock. Once on the card, I coated the heart with Distress Collage Medium and added Distress Rock Candy Glitter.

For the sentiments, I combined different phrases from Tim’s Idea-o-logy Clippings Stickers. I love these and it is fun to create your own sentiment with them. I attached them to the card with Foam Strips.

I just love the beautiful texture that the Distress Watercolor Pencils leave on these wild flowers- it is so organic and beautiful. I was having so much fun I made several cards.
