Tim Holtz/Sizzix: Christmas Magic
For this card, I started by die-cutting city pieces from the Christmas Magic die set out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then watercolored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I kept the die-cut pieces inlaid into the cardstock I cut them out of, so it was easier to watercolor the smaller pieces. I die-cut the santa silhouette several times out of black cardstock, and stacked them together with adhesive.
I then cut a sheet of Distress Watercolor Cardstock into a gatefolded card. I watercolored both sides using Distress Watercolor Pencils and pigment smooshing with a plastic piece of acetate. I die-cut some of the greenery from the Holiday Classic die set out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and watercolored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I die-cut “peace” out of some sparkle cardstock.
I added some Distress Rock Candy to the ground, and the moon.
