Glitter All of the Things! ✨
As a lover of all things Distress, I swear the recent releases feel like they’ve been curated just for me 😉. And this one? Wicked exciting! Ranger and Tim Holtz have just released Distress Rock Candy CHUNKY, and it is everything I didn’t know I needed.
Not only is it sparkly perfection, but the packaging has me swooning too. It comes in a sweet plastic jar, complete with a nostalgic mercantile-style label that gives all the vintage feels. The jar itself is shaped like something you’d find in an old candy shop—making it just as fun to display as it is to use. This chunky glitter is truly a vintage-inspired twinkling dream!
But wait… there’s more. They also released a limited edition jar of Distress Rock Candy Clear. Yep, it’s as cute as it sounds, and it’s going to look adorable displayed in your crafty space.
If you know me, you know I love glitter—all kinds of glitter. I use Lawn Fawn’s Chunky Glitter often, and now with Rock Candy Chunky in the mix, I can show you the difference between the two (spoiler: Jennabler alert—you’re going to want both 😉).
And the best part? I’m stocking both of these fabulous jars in my online shop!
✨ Grab your glitter today and get ready to sparkle up all of your crafty projects.

Each word I diecut out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Quinn’s ABCs from Lawn Fawn. I watercolored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. Once on the card, I treated them with a little bit of sparkle. For the word “hope” I used Distress Rock Candy Chunky, for “joy” I used Distress Rock Candy Clear and for “Peace I used Distress Snowflakes. I love how each give a unique look but they all look so awesome together!

The fun packaging this year is different then the Limited Edition packaging Ranger did last year. I love these, I think they are so fun to display in my studio. I poured one jar into a Glitter Storage Container, and kept one for display 😉

As you probably know by now, I love to Glitter All Of The Things! ✨ You’ve seen me reach for Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter countless times, and it will always be a favorite. But the new Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter brings something totally different to the table.
Rock Candy Chunky has a clear/white sparkle that gives projects a vintage, frosted look, while Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter leans more toward an iridescent shimmer with colorful reflections. Both are gorgeous—it really just depends on the vibe you’re going for.
Honestly, I think there’s a time and place for both… so of course, I’m thrilled to add this new Distress option into my creative toolbox. More glitter = more fun, right? 😉

Love the look of this glitter! How did you apply it to the letters? Cover them in liquid adhesive first?
I added Distress Collage Medium on the bottom of the letters and then added the glitter
