Hi, everyone! I am here today with the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. If you love Lawn Fawn you will want to hang out with us over there- we have inspiration and chances to win gift certificates to Lawn Fawn! For this challenge, we are having some fun with all the food images from Lawn Fawn. I hope you will find it inspiring and will create a card, and join our challenge!
Sweet on You, Lawn Fawnatics
This card was inspired by my friend May Sukyong Park. I loved how she combined a bunch of images but was still able to have a clear focal point. Be sure to check out her awesome card here.
So I flipped through all of my Lawn Fawn sets and pulled the ones that had “sweet treats”. I took one of the Heart Stackables dies, cut it out of a post it note, and placed it in the center of the card which is made with the new Vanilla Malt cardstock.
I then just started stamping all the small images making sure to stamp off the edge and half on the card and post it note so that the heart shape will be clear. I also worked in one small area with all the stamps and then moved to another area. I think this helps to really fill in the spaces tightly.
The images I used and which sets they are from:
Cinnamon Bun and Muffin: Bun in the Oven
Cupcake: Baked with Love
Strawberries: So Smooth
Chocolate Chip Cookies: Milk and Cookies
Small Candies: Spooktacular
Small Candies: Costume Party
Once all the images were stamped I colored them in with Prismacolor colored pencils. For the sentiment I cut out the words “sweet” and “you” from Cole’s ABC’s with the new Ground Coffee cardstock. I am so happy to have some fabulous browns in the selection of cardstocks from Lawn Fawn. once I got those letters in place I then stamped “on” with Claire’s ABC’s in Walnut Ink.
To finish off the card I matted it with Ground Coffee and Ballet Slippers cardstock. This was such a fun card to make and I am really pleased with how it turned out 🙂
