STAMPtember: Woot, You totally got this!
I got the new Interlocking Leaves stamp from Simon Says Stamp, and I created this fun encouragement card with it.
I started by embossing the image on Distress White Heavystock with gold embossing powder. I then did some ink smooshing, using a piece of acetate and Distress ink. This way I could really control where the colors are going to go. I did one color at a time, and heat set in between colors. The distress ink colors I used are:
- Kitsch Flamingo
- Spiced Marmalade
- Squeezed Lemonade
- Twisted Citron
- Salvaged Patina
I then die-cut this panel with Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. For the sentiment I die- cut CZ Design’s “Woot” die. The back is cut from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock and the front is cut from gold metallic cardstock. I layered these together using a glue tube.
Then for the smaller part of the sentiment, I gold embossed “You totally got this” from CZ Designs Simple Sentiment set.
I then matted that on gold metallic cardstock, and raised the whole sentiment off the card with foam squares
