Snow Party, Simon Says Stamp

12/20/2017

Time for a NEW Simon Says Stamp Wednesday ChallengeHey, everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is a Party Time!

We are featuring Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!

Snow Party, Simon Says Stamp

I was looking at my Simon Says Stamp Products, and came across a pack of Suzy’s Watercolor Prints, and I really just wanted to color- so I am hosting a “snow party” on my card! But not for real, because I hate winter and don’t want anymore of the white stuff!

I watercolored the image with Distress Inks. They are printed on Distress Watercolor Cardstock (my fave!) so that’s perfect.

Once I was done watercoloring, I trimmed it a bit and foam taped it to a notecard I made out of 8.5×11 Distress Watercolor Cardstock that I cut down to 4.25 x 5.5.

Then I had a lot of fun embellishing the image. I started by using a quickie glue pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter on the scarf, hat and the tops of the snow on the sign and the top of the hillside. I then filled in the rest of the snow with Distress Stickles in Clear Rock Candy- this stickles is discontinued, which makes me so sad, but you could substitute it with Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy.

I then used Oyster Liquid Pearls to fill in the pom pom of the hat and the rim. Lastly I used some white Nuvo drops here and there to go along with the snowflakes.

Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Party Time! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
