Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today a few cards made with the new Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit! I love their card kits- you can make so many different cards with just one kit.

It’s best to subscribe so you get the first chance to have a kit as they often sell out.  Plus you save $5 and it’s nice because you can pause a month here and there if needed!

I know everyone is in holiday mode still, but come January 2nd you are going to wish you had some new crafty supplies to play with, and whats better to make some cards for those special in your life.

I used a bunch of the hearts from the Really Like You stamp set, and the small Delicata Pink Shimmer ink pad along with SSS Hot Lips dye ink to stamp the background of the scalloped square.

I then stamped “I really like you” also from the stamp set and used one of the Crate Paper puffy stickers included in the kit.

The background paper, Pebbles Inc. Forever My Always is from the kit as well. I added a few white nuvo drops.

I had a lot of fun with this one! I started by lining up the “xoxo” and hearts border stamps from the Really Like You stamp set in my stamp positioner and stamping a background of  them with SSS Fog Ink.

Then I used the small Delicata Pink Shimmer ink pad to stamp the larger heart and “You are my favorite”. I used SSS Smoke Ink, and stamped the sentiment again, slightly offset.

I cut my square panel and some patterned paper for the background. Then I used a chisel tip glue pen, and dragged it along the edges. While the glue was still wet I used the Distress Vintage Platinum Glitter to sprinkle on the edges. I love this trick because it almost looks like soldering! (The glitter is in the kit too!!)

I hope you enjoy these cards and find them inspiring for when you get your kit!
