Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes, featuring Spectrum Noir colored pencils

I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card!

This week’s challenge is Anything Goes – the design team is featuring Spectrum Noir colored pencils! They were wicked generous and donated sets of pencils to the whole team- how fun is that!?!

I hadn’t had a chance to play with the exclusive Feathered Friends Lawn Fawn set that was released during STAMPtember on Simon Says Stamp so I thought this would be the perfect time! Unfortunately this set is sold out, but I figured a lot of you were able to purchase it in September and it may inspire you if you hadn’t to dig out other feather stamps and your colored pencils! I also used Lawn Fawn’s Starry Backdrops stamp set for the background and stamped with with Maliblue Simon Says Stamp Ink.

As I mentioned Spectrum Noir was super generous and sent me 2 sets of their fabulous pencils! I chose the Primaries and Essentials sets. I was really happy with the variety of colors that left me with! I colored feather blending 2 colored pencils and using the stumps and Gamasol Blending Solution. I then fussy cut them out and popped them off the card. Using my quickie glue pen I added detail with ultra fine glitter. I love that this glue pen makes it easy to trace words, or add very detailed places to adhere glitter. You can see in the above photo I dotted the glue just like the stamp design was.

I decorated the inside of the card with the fun heart border what was included in the Feathered Friends set and colored them in a rainbow order.
