Hey everyone! I am here today to share with you a fun group of cards I made with some of the new products from Simon Says Stamps New Beginnings Release!
I used the new stamps from the Funny Food Set. These images and sentiments are wicked fun and these cards came together rather quickly! I had fun coloring and shading with Copic Markers. I then fussy cut out the main image, and used a black brush marker along the edges so you don’t see any white. I repeatedly stamped the main image around the background. For all the cards but one, I used Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige for a subtle background. For one of the cards, I used black ink. I wanted to see which one I like more, and I’m still not quite sure. After you look at all the cards be sure to tell me Which way is your favorite? With the beige ink or black.
These are quick and simple cards to make for a fun greeting to mail to a friend to brighten their day! I will definitely be making some more of these 🙂
I love them all…..but the pizza is my favorite!
They’re all really really cute but my favorite is the black outline and in particular the watermelon slice. I really like these cards and your design layout.
The cards are very cute. Love this stamp set. I think my vote is beige- it really allows your coloring to stand out.
Love these cards!!! Decisions…decisions. I’m leaning more towards the beige ink. It’s nice to see the little guys in the background, but they don’t compete with the main colored image. Going to have to give the ink change up a try myself!
Love them! You are my favorite 10 cards 1 kit artist. Do you plan to do one with Hero Arts February card kit?
so pretty cards!
So stikin’ cute Jenn!! they are both cute but I like the beige best I think…it looks like your choice not to color was intentional, and it also makes that focal image POP more!!
TFS 😀 They are awesome!
Love these cards, this set would be great for encouragement and valentines day also.
I don’t know either which one I like. The images are certainly bold enough for the black background stamping but there is something about the beige I like. Great cards.
