Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: Cozy Hugs

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you a bright, fun one layer card! I made it with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Cozy Hugs Release!

Floral Thanks, Simon Says Stamp

For this card, I used the new Picnic Floral Sentiments. I started by stamping the large flower in a diagonal line with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. Since the flowers are solid stamps, Distress Oxides work beautifully, because of their pigment property.

Then using the same large flower, I continued to stamp along the diagonal with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. I then used the smaller flowers included in the set, stamping them along the diagonal, filling in the spaces, and being sure to stamp off the edge to show movement across the cardstock.

I used Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide.

I then stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I diecut out the background with the larges outside in stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn and adhered it to a card base that I ink blended a gradient with the same Distress colors, only with regular Distress, not Distress Oxide.

To finish off the card I added some sparkly sequins.

This card came together very quickly and could be recreated with all kinds of different colors. Super fun!
