Mermaid Vibes, Lawn Fawnatics

Hello Everyone! I have a fun summer card to share with you today for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. For this challenge, we encourage you to create a project using only dies.

Alright, now to the fun project I have to share with you-

Mermaid Vibes, Lawn Fawnatics

I adore the new border dies from Lawn Fawn, so I wanted to play with one of them. I die-cut a bunch of the Scalloped Arches Border out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, I adhered them to the bottom of another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then watercolored the scalloped borders and background using Distress Watercolor Pencils (Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet). I splattered some Peacock Feathers Distress Watercolor Pencils, and Light Gold Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Paints.

I then die-cut and assembled the Mermazing die out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and watercolored her with Distress Watercolor Pencils.

Hair: Abandoned Coral
Skin: Tattered Rose
Rosy Cheeks: Worn Lipstick
Top: Wilted Violet
Tail: Lucky Clover
Crown: Light Gold Gansai Tambi Starry Colors

For the sentiment, I die-cut the word “vibes” out of Finley’s ABCs and watercolored them with Uncharted Mariner Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added them to the card, and then added Distress Rock Candy to the letters.
