Loving Fuchsias, Pinkfresh Studio

As promised, I wanted to share images of the card here for all of you.

I shared a special story about why I wanted to use this new Fuchsias Stamp Set from Pinkfresh Studio. My grandmother’s birthday is May 17th, and every year we always gave her a fuchsias plant. She LOVED them. She played a huge role in my life, I spent so much time with her growing up, and I KNOW some of my strongest personality traits are directly from her 💕 You can see a few posts I have written about her here.

Stamping the fuchsias which is all one stamp, on Distress Watercolor Cardstock, with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink (which is watercolor friendly). I then proceeded to watercolor with Pinkfresh inks Raspberry Bliss, Royal Kiss, Emerald City, and  Meadow

I watercolored very loosely, not worrying if I filled in the image completely, or if I added shadow or dimension correctly. I shared how I did this on the YouTube LIVE you can watch it again here.

I then diecut the images and set them aside.

On another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, I did a wet, drippy, inky background with Raspberry Bliss ink. Use a lot of water, and the Distress Sprayer to create the drips. I dried this with the Ranger Heat Tool. I trimmed this panel to be 4.25″ x 5.5″ and started to arrange all the fuchsias along the top and edges of the horizontal card. I made sure to have some go off the background, and then trimmed the excess off.

Once all the fuchsias were in place, I dusted the corner of the background with TRHD Cottontail Powder tool, to prime it for heat embossing. I then stamped one of the sentiments from the set with versamark and embossed it with Brutus Monroe Gilded Ultra Fine Embossing Powder. I recently got this powder and LOVE it!

I then matted the background onto some gold metallic cardstock and added it to a card base.

Lastly, I added some Pinkfresh Bubblegum jewels and then I heavily coated the pink parts of the flowers with glossy accents.
