WOW! This weekend wrapped up my Loft Art Retreats for 2014- and it was a wicked fun time as usual! It was so awesome to get artsy fartsy with everyone and see how unique everyone’s projects came out! I will have more to share about the retreat and plans for 2015 soon. I didn’t take a ton of photos because my friend Sarah who is a super talented photographer came to take pics of the event for me so I will have those to share as well! For now you can check out all the posts everyone shared with the #loftartretreat here
Now lets get to the latest Lawnscaping Challenge!!
This week on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog we are challenging you to create something with a fall/pumpkin theme! It has definately gotten very fall like here in New England- I just wanted to hibernate and stay cozy all day yesterday, it was blustery out and we even saw some white stuff! ICK!
For this card I actually didn’t do any stamping!! I know crazy!! I wanted to mix together a bunch of the yummy Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather papers and Lawn Cuts (dies). The stitched banner, circle and heart are all from Stitched Party Banner and the leaves are from their Stitched leave sets. Once I die cut them from various patterns I inked their edges with the Mini Ink Blending Tool and Distress Inks. I used a color first then layered on top some Vintage Photo. I tied a bow… yes a bow… with some of the new Orchid Lawn Trimmings and then sprinkled on some sequins from last years “Into the Woods” mix pack. I chose not to put a sentiment. I can always stamp something on the inside- this could be a thank you, a birthday, happy thanksgiving or a simple hello!
Hope you enjoy this creation and I can’t wait to see what you come up with for this challenge. The lucky winner will win a gift certificate from our generous sponsors, Simon Says Stamp!

First of all – your card is stunning. Sometimes you just don’t need stamps to pull it off, and this is one of those times where it all fits together just perfectly.
Secondly, thank you for making my day and posting my project on your facebook. You are the absolute sweetest!
Thank you so much Becca! Your project was wicked fun! Happy to share it 😉
