Note: I will be back later with a fun Creative Blog Hop, so be sure to pop back and read all about that!
We are honoring all the awesome critter stamps that Lawn Fawn has this week on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog. Critters are fun because they make everyone smile and they can be used for any themed card you want! Be creative! We are challenging YOU to use critters!
For my card I decided to watercolor with Distress Ink Pads. Even though I struggled a few weeks ago with the One Layer Challenge– this weeks card is almost a one layer and I wasn’t even trying- go figure!
I find it so relaxing to watercolor, and using the mini distress inks makes it so easy! I had a lot of fun watercoloring the moose and bear, and then playing with the background as well.
The moose is from the new Critters in the Arctic set, and being from New Hampshire I was so excited to add him to the collection of Lawn Fawn critters I have. The bear is from the Love you S’more set, and I think he is just too cute!
Just a quick post for today. I have been super busy getting ready for upcoming local classes and my Loft Art Retreat. I will be back later today with a Creative Blog Hop post AND tomorrow with updated news about the Loft Art Retreat.
For this Lawnscaping Challenge Lawn Fawn is hosting, so this is your chance to win a Gift Certificate from them! I hope you will play along and show us your favorite critters!
Love, love, love your water coloring!!
So beautiful! Fun how you combined those two stamp sets!!
Awesome!!! Love that the one (almost) layer card happened organically!! Your distress ink watercoloring here is FABULOUS!! Love the shading and landscape you created!!
