Hey, everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Use Plaid!
We are featuring Lawn Fawn Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!
Lawn Fawn Plaid Explosion!
I think you know by now I never have a short supply of Lawn Fawn cards, then you add to that a plaid element… and I have even more!! Lawn Fawn has been offering yummy plaid papers for over a year now in all different categories Spring, Fall, Winter, Christmas and most recently Rainbow. They are super fun and make any card come to life!
I thought it would be fun to share a bunch of cards with you today that I taught throughout the spring and early summer at various stores and events. Be sure to sign up for my email newsletter to see if I am ever coming to your area to teach! I keep my classes pages updated as well! I will be adding a ton more events and locations for the fall very soon!
Ok, now on to these wicked fun cards!
This card uses Lawn Fawn’s Embroidered Hello die, Sewn with Love stamps, and Perfectly Plaid Rainbow Paper. I love the texture that the embroidery floss gives to the card and for a non-sewer like me I felt quite accomplished with this card 🙂
For this card I used a combination of Fairy Friends, Ready Set Snow and then the Ready Set Shake set that has the extra sentiments for the snow globe. I also used a fun plaid paper from Perfectly Plaid Fall.
The fabulous thing about this card is it only uses ONE stamp set and it only costs $10 for BOTH the stamps and dies! I love how Lawn Fawn comes out with these little sets that are a bit easier on my bank account! This set is called Year Seven. They come out with a new birthday set for their birthday celebration! I also used some Lawn Fawn Lime Lawn Trimmings. This stuff is the best, it is made out of hemp so stiffer then bakers twine, and I can successfully tie bows with it! Crazy I know!
No one was more excited than me when Lawn Fawn came out with a stamp set dedicated to kitties! Meow You Doin’ ? is so sweet! I created this birthday card by punching out a circle and then taking my scissors and cutting little snips around the circle, then folding the paper back. A fun and easy way to embellish a card! Also I think the Raspberry Cardstock I used is one of my fave colors from Lawn Fawn. Lastly I used Fancy Folded Banners for the sentiment!
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Use Plaid! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!
