Did you know that Lawn Fawn has a fun new mini-release available? This release is perfect for the times we are in now- to create cards for our heroes. Lawn Fawn is donating 100% of the profits from the new Village Heros stamp set to charity for Covid-19 relief! They also have fun new slimline dies which are wicked fun to create a new sized card- perfect for scene building!
I made 2 cards to inspire you with the new release!
This first card is featuring the new Village Heros stamp set. The set includes police, fire, medical and school elements. They all coordinate perfectly with Happy Village and Village Shops as I show here.
I also used some of the new Slimline dies. These are so fun to create a new sized card that is perfect for scene building! These cards will fit in a #10 envelope as well.
I used the Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps to create the layer on my card. I ink blended clouds across the top with Lawn Fawn’s Cloudy Stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.
To go along with this new size there are also stitched hillsides which I cut, and then ink blended with Distress Ink (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn).
For the second card, I created another slimline card, this time a magical scene with the Small Slimline with Lift The Flaps and some previously released stamps.
For this card I wanted each flap to hold a little magical surprise. I used Fairy Friends, coloring them with rainbow dresses and I also used Yay Kites for part of the sentiment and clouds, which were stamped with Lawn Fawn Merman ink.
I ink blended the slimline layers with Lawn Fawn Sunflower and Merman ink. For the inside panels I stamped Starry Backdrop with Lawn Fawn Butter Ink. I also used the elements that are part of the Shadow Box Rainbow Add On, for the clouds and rainbow.
I added Chunky glitter to the clouds with Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. I ink blended the rainbow with Lawn Fawn inks (Bubblegum, Carrot, Sunflower, Cilantro and Merman).
Lastly, I added a fun sentiment from Lucky Stars.
