Lawn Fawn Feature: Fall Leaves

10/7/2015

Note: you can see this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday post here and registration for the Mixed Media Loft Art Retreat is OPEN!

I am SUPER excited, to be on the Lawn Fawn blog today with a festive fall card I created. I will have a Lawn Fawn feature each month and look forward to sharing more ideas with you!

Today I have a card that is on the Lawn Fawn blog, but I also have another one to share with you because I was having so much fun playing with fall leaves! I loved the stitched leaves that Lawn Fawn came out with last year so I was super happy to see the small stitched leaves set that is new. They are perfect for inking and distressing and creating realistic looking leaves!

Sneak Peek on Instagram | shurkus.com

I posted this picture the other day on Instagram and got such a great response I decided to hop on Periscope and share how I was creating these leaves. You can still watch my scope through Katch, so I have embedded it here for you as well. Tim Holtz even popped in to see what I was sharing !!!!! 🙂

I created this card too, but it came out a bit dark. I wasn’t going to share it, but I thought- why not!?! Can’t love them all!
