Alright, now to the fun project I have to share with you-
Hocus Pocus, Lawn Fawnatics
For this card, I wanted to create around the sentiment “hocus pocus”. I also thought it would be fun to have Mister Harley celebrating Halloween with my friend Chari’s dog, Scout. I used images from Purrfectly Wicked and Happy Howloween as well as letters from Quinn’s ABCs. I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black to stamp the images and I stamped them onto Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper.
I used the above Copic markers to color the images. With the swatches above you can easily substitute for similar colors or even a different coloring medium. If you are interested in learning more about Copic coloring, or alcohol marker coloring, be sure to check out my Copic 101 post here.
Then for the background, I die-cut a stitched rectangle using the largest from Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle from Distress Black Heavystock. I then created a watercolored magical background using paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors palette and the Gem Colors palette.
I added some black glaze pen to the stars on the cauldron and spiders on the potion bottles. I also added some Prisma glitter details with a Quickie Glue Pen. Lastly, I sprinkled some Chunky Glitter along the letters, using Glossy Accents to adhere it.
