Hey everyone! Today I am sharing some more fun friendship cards I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Kisses Release!

Hello My Friend, Simon Says Stamp
These cards were a lot of fun to create, and be sure to read to the end as I have another card I created with a fun surprise! I started these cards by using the new Painted Heart Wreath. I put the stamp in my Misti, and proceeded to add color to it with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I misted the stamp with water, then scribbled directly onto the stamp with the following Distress Watercolor Pencils:
- Peacock Feathers
- Seedless Preserves
- Villianous Potion
- Peeled Paint
I misted the stamp again, and then stamped the image onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock, on the textured side. Then before cleaning the stamp, mist with water, and stamp it onto another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Using the Distress Sprayer gives you the perfect fine mist to rejuvinate the watercolor pencils when misted from 8-10inches above.
I let these backgrounds dry a bit naturally, so that the color pools in certain areas, then I finished drying them with a Ranger Heat Tool. Once dry, I added some splatters directly from Distress Watercolor Pencils. I dried that, then added some splatters from my dirty paint water. I dried those backgrounds one more time, and then die cut them with the largest stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle set.
I then stamped the sentiment from Hi There Greetings, using Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Misti. Since I am stamping on the textured side of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, it took stamping it a few times to get a nice colid impression. I finished the cards off by adding some Pinkfresh Studio Glacier Jewels with a Glue Tube, and Pick Up Tool.
Now, after I finished stamping all the Painted Heart Wreaths, there was a lot of pooled color from the Distress Watercolor Pencils on the door of my Misti, so I wondered what it would look like if I tried picking that pigment up with a clean piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. The results? The backgound of this next card- WHOA! I loved it so much! So yummy and artsy!
I stamped the Painted Heart Wreath on top of it, using Vintage Photo Distress Watercolor Pencil, and the same process as above. Once stamped, I had a lot of fun with some splatters directly from the Distress Watercolor Pencils, and then droplets of water from the Distress Sprayer. I stamped another sentiment from Hi There Greetings, and added a few Glacier jewels as well.
