Hey, everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This weeks challenge is Sparkle & Shine!
If you are visiting my blog for the first time or have not yet subscribed – be sure to do so! I share lots of handmade projects every week delivering them straight to your inbox! I also occasionally share information about crafty classes and new product releases I love. Subscribe here.
We are featuring Tonic Studios Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!
Hello Miss Thang
I’ve been wanting to play with this newer set of CZ Designs, Hello You. I thought it was the perfect set to add a little sparkle and shine to!
I started with a sheet of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and played with Distress Inks (Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron) to create a watercolored background.
I then stamped “hello” from the Hello You set and die cut it out. I cut out 4 extra “hello”s in white. I used a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to layer the “hello”s. I stamped “miss thang” on a strip of Peacock Lawn Fawn Cardstock and embossed it in white.
I used a Quickie Glue pen and traced the word “hello” and added some Turquoise Glitter from the Peacock Feathers Tonic Glitter Set. I also added some dots of Nuvo in Morning Dew and Caribbean Ocean.
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Sparkle & Shine! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
Also if you are on instagram tag your photo with #ssswchallenge 🙂 There will be ONE lucky winner that will be chosen at random, it could be you!
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!

Simon Says Stamp!
Beautiful card! I love your gorgeous background! Seeing your post reminded me of Mister Harley, and I’m wondering how his birthday went last week. I am hoping you will share an update of how many cards Mister Harley received. I hope it was a fun celebration and that Mister Harley got spoiled! But then again if he’s anything like my cats, he probably gets spoiled every day hehe.
Gorgeous card Jenn, I love the background and the sparkly hello is fabulous! 🙂
