Hey crafty friends! 👋 I’m popping in to share a card I made using some of my favorite Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous.
Fun fact: Stampers Anonymous doesn’t retire their Tim Holtz designs—so there’s a huge library of awesome stamps and stencils you might not have seen in a while (or totally forgot you had 😉).
Hope this project sparks some inspiration to dig into your stash and get creative! ✨

Haunted Neighborhood, Tim Hotlz

This spooky little scene features the Ghost Town stamp and stencil set, and I used every single element from it! Most of the card was created with Distress Watercolor Pencils, one of my favorite mediums.
I started by watercoloring the background with the pencils, even painting my own cobblestones along the ground for a custom touch. The haunted houses were also stamped and colored using Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added some subtle spider webs through the stencil using Black Soot Distress Archival Ink, and then roughed up the edges with a Paper Distresser for that perfectly eerie vibe.
For the sentiment, I heat-embossed it in white on Black Licorice cardstock. As always, I prepped the surface first with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped several times with Yeti White Pigment Ink in my MISTI, and finished it off with Alabaster Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe for a crisp, clean look.
To finish it off, I used Black Soot Distress Archival Ink to ink the edges of the houses, added a bit of Glossy Accents to the windows for shine, and sprinkled on Distress Rock Candy Clear Glitter to the moon for a touch of sparkle. ✨
