Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Make It Sparkle!
We are featuring Hero Arts Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!
Handmade Hello With A Touch of Sparkle, Hero Arts
Since it is that time of year where we are busy with holiday parties, shopping and preparation, I thought I would keep it simple and make an easy greeting that would work all year long. I lightly traced a circle onto the card with a pencil, and stamped the greens around it from Hero Arts Little Messages. I used Lawn Fawn Jalapeno ink. I gently erased my pencil marks. I then diecut the scalloped tag and stamped “hello” in Hero Arts Raspberry Jam. I added a touch of gold glitter ribbon from my ribbon bag. Doesn’t everyone have a ribbon bag? It’s filled with all kinds of ribbon scraps and I LOVE it 😉
I added some foam tape to the tag to adhere it to the background. I cut the background down slightly smaller then the card and used foam tape to adhere that to the card. Bam! Done! 🙂
You can make a bunch of these fairly quickly and send them to friends all through the year.
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Make It Sparkle, use the inspiration board above to be inspired to create something! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!
