Go With The Flow

Go With The Flow, Hero Arts | shurkus.com

Happy Friday Everyone!

I have another Hero Arts card for you today. It’s a simple card, but a good reminder. Go with the flow- man I have to remind myself of this a lot lately. I have a lot going on, organizing, planning etc and it doesn’t always work out the way I had intended… go with the flow is what I remind myself. It will all work out, and whats meant to be will be!

Hero Arts Go With The Flow Rubberstamp

When I saw this Go With The Flow Whale Stamp from Hero Arts I just knew it needed to live on my stamp shelves. I love everything about it. The whale, the typography and the quote. It’s perfect!

I kept this card simple. I inked the whale in Salty Ocean Distress Ink and stamped it on Distress Watercolor Paper. I then took my Tim Holtz waterbrush and filled the letters in with some of the distress ink. I did the same thing to create the water around the whale. I then used a quickie glue pen and filled in all the letters. It was fun to trace them, pretending I had written the beautiful letter forms. Once all the letters had glue in them, I sprinkled some Ultrafine Glitter.

I then tore the bottom of the watercolor paper, towards me so it would expose the center of the paper. I used some foam tape to adhere it to a card. All done! Simple, yet elegant.

I would never have thought this stamp could look like THAT! It’s amazing! I love those glittery letters. A whale stamp, elegant . . . stop it. Crafty genius.

You know, I had to have this image…bought it and well, haven’t inked it up. You’ve inspired me. Love what you’ve done.
