Happy National Coffee Day! Did you not know it was National Coffee Day? Well now you do- and we have all kinds of Coffee Inspiration for you!!! I am enjoying an Island Coconut from Green Mountain Coffee, hot. I usually am drinking a Dunkin Donuts Iced Caramel Swirl Coffee but no time to stop on the way to work today.
Amy and Chaitali are hosting this fabulous Blog Hop today and it was the perfect excuse to create another card with the new Lawn Fawn Love You A Latte set! I was hanging out with some of my crafty peeps on Google Hangout last night and I whipped up this “warm wishes” card. I wanted to play with Doodlebugs Paper Doilies. I actually don’t own a lot of coffee themed stamps so that part was an easy pick for me.
I stamped and watercolored in the coffee cup with distress inks on distress watercolor paper. I just love adding the little mustache face to it!! Wicked cute!! I used Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I mounted all of this onto one of Lawn Fawns new woodgrain notecards, I just LOVE these! I was sharing with my friends while creating it I feel like I do the same thing over and over with sentiments. I almost left this one without a sentiment because I wasn’t sure what would work. They reminded me I could put one on the inside! Ha! I always forget that as I am usually designing cards for classes or my blog and its one more thing to photograph or remind people in classes.
I also just wanted to point out that this month’s card kit from Simon Says Stamp has the cutest coffee themed stamp set and all kinds of other goodies! I think their kits are some of the best value ever!! Check it out!
I can’t wait to see what everyone else created for this hop! If you would like to hop around to other coffee creations you can start the hop here. Everyone is linking their posts at the bottom of the blog post. There are many sponsors and ways to win prizes so be sure to check it out!!
So cute!
I love how your little coffee cup is sitting on a doily on the table. We can stamp the sentiment on the insides of the cards? Wow! Such a fabulous idea. Why is it I never think to do it? 99% of my little cards are ignored on the inside. I think your card is happy with the sentiment inside. Thanks for sharing and reminding me.
awwwwww…this is adorable! Love that coffee cup! awesome teaming up the woodgrain with the doily!
Thanks for linking up to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop♡
Aww this is so sweet and cute!!
That mustache is wicked cute!! I love your water coloring. I feel the same way about my cards. I always, always, always but my sentiments on banners. ugh. Talk about a lack of creativity. I’m also very intrigued by this hanging out with friends via Google. Why didn’t I think of that?! Sounds fun!!
Love your card!
What a cute card, I don’t have many coffee related stamps either.
super cute, Jenn!
I just love your “mustachio” card. Love the colors too!

Cute, cute card and photo! I love Green Mountain Coffee too, but currently drink Italian Lavazza.
Ahhh, such a cute card…love it!!
Such a cute little mug! Love the addition of the steam-heart and the coffee-bean “sequins.” You drink some fancy coffees, girly! I stick with the tried and true Canadian “double” (2x steamed milk–no sugar), from Tim Horton’s (kind of a cousin to Dunkin’ Doughnuts…).
Beautiful card, love the stamped inside 🙂
Super cute little card, Jenn!
