OK, EVERYONE!!!! Yes, I am yelling- it is time to GET CRACKING!!! Christmas is about a month away, it is TIME to create those holiday cards and get them in the mail!! As I have each month on the third Thursday, I am posting a holiday creation and hopefully inspire you to create one too! I have a bunch of crafty friends posting as well, so be sure to read to the end to visit them too! Oh, yea! and still having a giveaway, so more details on that below too.

Get Cracking: Merry Snowflakes
One of the reasons why I started Get Cracking, is because I like to buy ALLLLL the holiday stamps, but don’t have time to use them all. Since I am using them throughout the year, I can justify all my crafty purchases! Tricky, huh?
This is a new background stamp from Simon Says Stamp, Center Cut Snowflake. I knew right away when I saw it, that I would want to watercolor over it, just like this.
I white embossed the image on Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then spritzed the panel with water, and watercolored on it with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire).
I then die-cut out Scripty Merry from Lawn Fawn with Pixie Dust Cardstock. Next, I white embossed a small sentiment from Tiny Words Christmas on Blue Jay cardstock.
To finish it off I added a sprinkle of sequins and pearls on the card.

Jenn, I love your card!! I liked the SSS stamp when I first saw it, but I have SO many snowflake stamps already I couldn’t justify buying another!! LOL Now I kind of wish I had. Like you, I really like making holiday cards. I have made some recently but forgot to link to you. Maybe I can go back and fix that. Have a great Thanksgiving whatever you decide to do.
