Hello! I am sharing with you today a few cards made with the new Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit! I love their card kits- you can make so many different cards with just one kit.
It’s best to subscribe so you get the first chance to have a kit as they often sell out. Plus you save $5 and it’s nice because you can pause a month here and there if needed!
Choose Joy, Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit
When I opened the March Card kit was I was so excited because not only did you get ONE stamp set… but you get TWO this month!! Whooo-hooooo! The images are perfect for spring and where there is spring there is summer close behind- which makes this beach-loving girl HAPPY!
With the 2 stamps sets, I was able to quickly make two cards to share with you- hope you enjoy them!
For the first card I used the flowers and greenery stamps from the Choose Joy Stamp Set to create patterned paper. I watercolored them with Distress Oxide Inks. Putting the card together with some of the patterned paper included in the kit and the scripty hello is from one of the sticker sheets!
For the second card, I was having so much fun playing with my Distress Oxide Inks I decided to continue watercoloring with them while using the rain boots image from the Showers and Flowers stamp set.
I love the Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink around the image to really make it pop! Again I used some of the patterned paper included in the kit. To finish it off I added some of the Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen on top of the rain boots.
I hope you enjoy these cards and find them inspiring for when you get your kit!

I have tried for the longest but can you give any tips on how you are doing the watercolor background with the Oxide inks? Is there a specific technique to this?
Thanks for your inspirations jenn!
This looks like a great kit! Besides the cute stamps, I’m loving the patterned paper! As a newer card maker, I find it easier to work with the paper because I’m still working on my coloring.
Great cards out of this fun spring set. Love the floral stamp, very modern and free love that kind of image. Your little creature in the wellies is adorable, great use of colours on that. The more I look at this set the more I’m falling for it.
