Note: Don’t miss this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
I am up on the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a fun thank you card 🙂
Cheerful Thank You, Lawn Fawn
I love typography. I also admire all of the awesome and clever cards that Elise creates with alphabet letters and dies from Lawn Fawn- so she inspired me!
I die cut the word “thank you” with Quinn’s abc’s Lawn Cuts just out of white neenah cardstock. Then I used the hearts and smiles from Baked with Love to add a fun pattern to the letters. I used Pink Flamingo, Guava, Mermaid and Peacock Lawn Fawn Ink. I also used Guava ink to watercolor the bold stripes in the background. I die cut the panel with the Cross Stitch Rectangles. Lastly I added a heart balloon from Party Balloons with aquamarine Lawn Trimmings.
Did you know that you can “mold” Lawn Fawn’s trimmings? Here I wrapped the trimmings around a small paintbrush and huffed on it, the warmth from my breath helped form the curls you can see here!
Don’t forget!
I am offering a Distress Ink Technique Class over at Big Picture Classes? I am teaching 5 different techniques using wicked fun Lawn Fawn supplies!
