I’m back with a fun birthday card I made for my friend 27. A lot of people ask me how he got his name”27″, his real name is Matt. When we met he was 27- so I nicknamed him 27 🙂 – he turned 37 this year. (yes, I will still be calling him 27)

A Husky Birthday, Purple Onion Designs

This card involved a lot of masking. I love the results!

I used the husky and the balloon, stamped them all out, masking completely then I ink blended with blender brushes and Distress Ink

• Picked Raspberry
• Spiced Marmalade
• Mustard Seed
• Twisted Citron
• Peacock Feathers
• Hickory Smoke

I stamped out “happy” in the balloons, then “happy birthday” from the Carnival Blurbs

I added a touch of black glaze pen to their noses and eyes.
