Hey everyone! I am sharing March’s tag with you today that I created as part of Tim Holtz’s 12 tags of 2015. I am playing catch up, so I am sharing them a little out of order but you can see my other tags here. I will back tomorrow with February’s and then I will be all caught up and ready for June!
You may have seen this sneak peek on instagram that I shared while Rachel, Lynn and I were getting artsy fartsy. I LOVE doing this technique with Distress Paints. They are so vibrant and pretty!
I absolutely LOVE this tag! I LOVE the vibrant colors… I love being reminded how fun it is to just clear emboss an image 😉 and I am head over heels in LOVE with how awesome the gold embossing powder looks with the Texture Paste! I do have a confession though… I didn’t read directions carefully, (I know… a shocker) and I didn’t wait for the texture paste to dry with the gold embossing powder on it before I heat embossed it… but you know what? I’m ok with that.. it made it bubble a bit more, but I actually like that added texture 😉
So for the most part I copied Tim completely on this one, but I learned a lot and was reminded of a lot of fun techniques as well 🙂 Oh yea! I also lost a bet on this one… I couldn’t believe that Tim used Stazon Ink for something and not his trusty Archival 🙂
Remember Tim Holtz gives awesome step by step directions with a photo tutorial- easy to play along!

Beautiful creation. Thank you for the nice comment. Veexx
