Hey everyone! I am sharing February’s tag with you today that I created as part of Tim Holtz’s 12 tags of 2015. I am playing catch up, so I am sharing them a little out of order but you can see my other tags here. After this I am caught up and ready for June!
I didn’t have all of the right supplies for this one but I know that is ok and it is fun to improvise!
I loved piecing together the background and then rubbing white Distress Paint over it to give it a shabby look. Edging the lines with a Black Soot Distress Marker really makes it pop! Those that know me… know I do not sew, the tiny attacher came in handy instead! It was fun to add color to the globe with Distress Paints. Instead of spritzing it with the black soot marker I chose to flick some of Dina Wakley’s Gilt Paint, you know my favorite paint ever!! 🙂
