Cheering For You, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today, I am sharing some fun cards I created using some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamp Cheering For You Release!

You, Simon Says Stamp

For these cards, I started by creating the background. I used Simon Says Stamp Diamond Circles stencil and Distress Inks in the following colors:

• Picked Raspberry
• Spiced Marmalade
• Mustard Seed
• Mowed Lawn
• Peacock Feathers
• Wilted Violet

I ink blended onto Distress White Heavystock. I love how this background turned out by using Honey Bee Stamps blending brushes and the Make Art Stay-tion to hold the stencil in place!

Next, I die-cut the new Simon Says Stamp/CZ Design You die background out of black cardstock and the front die out of pixie dust sparkle cardstock.

I then completed the sentiment, with some of the smaller sayings as part of the YOU stamp set. I white embossed them. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I stamp the image several times over using a Misti and Yeti white pigment ink, then sprinkle the Alabaster embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.

I added the sentiments to the card with black foam squares and strips. I then added a few Butterfly Kisses sequins for a touch of sparkle. I like to use Trinity Stamp’s pick-up tool and tray to place and stay tidy!
